You Don't Suck!

I'm curious what they mean by your vids getting "sent to" the subscriber. Because if you go to your subscription feed you should see everything you sub to and the new uploads, however they do send out emails where they only give you about 3 or so of the new videos that came out in the last week or so. Of course this is probably determined by who you have notifications on for and who you watch the most out of your feed with the occasional wild card. If they're talking about the email system, I think that's fair. If they're talking about subscription feeds, we may have a problem.

Guys... seriously? There are so many videos being uploaded that it would be silly to give people the videos that they never watch. Everything is about maximizing profit, and with YouTube that means giving people the videos that they want to watch vs the ones that they do not watch at all. If you are subscribed to 10 people you probably see them all. Perhaps even 100 people. But a 1000? Imagine getting 1000 videos in your inbox every time. That just doesn't work.

If you're subscribed to someone but you don't watch most of their videos, youtube will stop notifying you of their new content even if you are subscribed. Simple.

This thread is from 2013, and a lot has changed on YouTube since this thread was created. I'm locking this to prevent further confusion. ^_^
