Why you shouldn't rush into a network

understand were your coming from, but thats only if he gets 150 views for 2 years which is very not really going to happen, i would suspect that in 2 years he should be aiming for like 1-2k a day

There is also the other end of the spectrum.

Example :

Jimmy has 50 views a day and meets a networks minimum requirements, he signs a 2-year contract with a CPM of ~$5 and a 50/50 split and is very happy with himself.
Now one year later after piggy-backing a new un-explored Niche Jimmy has 500,000 subscribers and gets 15M monthly views, but because of his 2 year contract, he will only earn 50% of his revenue for the next year when he could potentially be earning 90%+..

Oh you are partnered with YouTube then! Same as me ;)
I agree, stick with normal YT Pattnership and Adsense - I also feel I make more then I would elsewhere.
yep yep yep :D high five!!! i was approached but I didn't find the deals attractive even after negotiations..and they offered me quite a good deal..i just decided to stick with my gut instead

Yeah I was gonna mention that, but it's so rare to suddenly gain enough views to make any real difference.[DOUBLEPOST=1365254262,1365254199][/DOUBLEPOST]

You're still stuck with the horrific CPM and split though because you're locked into a contract. If you waited for the growth first you would have more favourable terms.

$3 cpm for 1000 views is ok though, i mean i know its all just examples, but if it was $3 to start with before the split, then that would suck big balls
