Why do you subscribe to a channel?

When I see that I like at least a few videos, I figure they will put out future stuff I like.
 
I tend to watch a lot of vlog-type videos (and beauty related stuff sometimes as well) and if the creator's personality jumps out at me I'll subscribe. Doesn't have to be overly funny or insanely high quality - basically if I think we'd be friends, I'll check you out :)
 
If the user has content that I regularly watch or replay, that is the main factor for me to subscribe to a channel. Another factor that I consider is the personality of the user as there is some users who I would subscribe to but their behaviour and morals make me disinterested in subscribing and watching their videos.
 
I only subscribe if I want to watch more of their content. If one video was great but the others not so much, then I most likely won't. I don't wanna be a ghost subscriber and I think that person would prefer me to not be either :)
 
Me personally I am quite picky, usually the content will be useful to me in some way for example it entertains me, educates me or helps me in some way, it sounds so selfish put that way but thats usually the number one reason people subscribe, because there is something valuable to them about your videos whether thats because you make them laugh or they find you inspirational, theres lots of things people find valuable in a channel :)
 
Im really into daily vlogs rather than people who do weekly videos so I'm not actually subscribed to loads of people! If you have a daily vlog channel let me know always on the look out for those kind of channels, if that isn't breaking any of the rules :) So if i enjoy what their doing with their life and there are also entertaining then i subscribe :) Plus i subscribe to friends or people that also give me support :)
 
If I find myself binge watching their videos or remembering their channel name in a week or two I deem them worthy of a subscription! Doesn't matter if it's a big or small channel. I'm not stingy with subscribing.
