Why do some people say Macs are better for editing?

Mac for editing, PC for gaming. Ok people, lets not forget that some of this is by opinion also.
 
I've had my Mac for almost 2 years, and I love it. It's what i've always wanted, and I am not disappointed with it. It is great with editing videos/photo editing, creating music, etc. If you're looking for a computer for mainly gaming, i'd go with a PC. Majority of games are not on Mac. Though if you really wanted to, there are programs that allow you to run Windows on your Mac. I've heard they work great. I haven't used it yet, but I plan to in the future.

Macs are an overall great computer. I don't plan on ever buying another Windows PC.

Not at all. FCP sucks donkey d**k.

For gaming maybe. But any creative work? You're wasting money on a Razer.
