Why do people hate Youtubers for making money?

It's a combination of jealousy, and people who seem to think that it's "greedy" to try and earn a lot of money. There's this entire mindset these days that people shouldn't earn more than they need, and if you do then you must be a greedy capitalist. :(

I don't think this is nearly as bad as it was say 1-3 years ago on YouTube.

Probably the increasing content quality along with the fact alot of viewers will be creators that are monetizing too now :D

Jealous. Though I think the main reason is that most people don't consider it a real job, and in some cases it isn't. Though Youtube is getting more more actual job like and requires real effort, most of the time.

I doubt everyone is hating on You Tubers trying to make a living doing what they love. A lot of that stuff could just be the vocal minority. Plenty of people could not care less.

The worst is when a YouTuber gets a paid product endorsement and finds a creative way to put it in a video and they still get accused of "selling out." Like Cassey of Blogilates did one for Playtex, and mentioned the product in the "What's in My Gym Bag?" part of her "How to Ease Cramps When On Your Period" video, so it was relevant and informative and not just "hey fans, buy this thing because I got paid to say it's awesome!"

I think that most of those people think that just because they're YouTube Partners, that they make around $500 per video or something and that the person asks for more money while he\she is "rich".
