Why do people do this?

Ah, People can click dislike of course, Even I do the same, But with smaller youtubers I think it can be better to add some feedback, ygm?
I don't mind if I get dislikes, to be fair, I just accept it and normally know why I got dislikes, low quality, not confident ect..

Yeah, I think a system where if someone dislikes they have to state why would work. Then if they put something like ''LOL GIRLS CANT PLAY GAMES!!!'', I can just ignore them or even ban them. :D

Yep, that's what normal humans should do. Point is, Youtube is free and accessible for anyone, including a ton of muruns. I mean, for every 100 people there are 5 trolls and they just do whatever they want and don't care behind the safe internet connection :).
 
That sucks, Tori, sorry :( It's a problem that plagues the entire internet, because with the advent of such a widely-accessible place, along with the shroud of anonymity, the web really has just been a place where people can fester away and release some negativity. YouTube being one of the biggest platforms available, most of these people will flock there, and unfortunately there's not much we can do :( Just ignore them, and be glad they're invested enough in your videos to do be prats about it. Plus, hey, a dislike counts as engagement!
 
Without writing an entire book on the inner workings of internet trolls, it usually just comes down to "haters gonna hate." That being said, always try to keep an eye out for CONSTRUCTIVE criticism and ways to improve your channel.
 
Yeah, dislikes are really annoying. I'm guessing it would be too much work for YouTube to implement an algorithm that picked up on these. If someone disliked the same person's videos shortly after they came out, without watching at least a specific percentage, they would be blocked. This would allow you to dislike any videos that you actually dislike, but stop trolls from going through channels and disliking videos for no reason apart from "it's funny".
 
Yeah it sucks when people do it. probably a channel of similar size or someone with a channel who does the same but realizes your better at it than them. Ignore it

Its an interaction and the more you get the higher up the list you go. yeah its annoying but nothing you can really do to stop it
