Why Did You Join YouTube?

That is kind of terrifying. Do I have a twin somewhere? lol

Possibly. She could be like a long lost sister or something.

My first YouTube account I made to share my old YouTube backgrounds, my goal was to have the largest background site around and I achieved that and the sharing was part of it. The reason has always been to share something and I find the sharing reason to be one of the most common and best reasons why most people join YouTube sharing their interests, their knowledge, creativity and so on. If you join because you want to share you usually have a lot of dedication and passion about the content you make and having that tends to lead to success, it shows in your videos.

I joined YouTube because I've always had a certain craving to feel accepted. Oh sure, I have friends at school, but how cool would it be to have 10,000 people that like you so much that they want to follow you and watch your videos? Also, I really enjoy acting, so I figured I'd make some videos and see where it goes from there. :)

I joined back in 2005 to get my Anime Music Videos out to more people, but I ended up losing my account 6 years later due to copyright violations.

I've moved onto doing gaming skits and parodies and have been ok ever since.

I joined to get my dumb ideas out there. :)

The main reason I joined was to make videos focused around this great Team Fortress 2 server I play on. They've become like a family to me and I wanted to give them the spotlight, so to speak.

I joined in 2006, solely to subscribe to Sumfight, and he mostly made goofy music videos or comedy sketches. I thought that it looked fun, and I wanted to give it a go! I even bought the camera he had LOL. My channel focus has shifted, but I'm still here for fun :)

I really don't remember why I joined the first time. I guess I just had the idea pop into my head to make videos, maybe for my class to see, and then I was able to act on it right away.

Second time was because my buddy Greeny was doing videos, and I got kind of jelly and jumped back into it, though way too soon and without the proper preparation.
