Why are your Videos a certain length?

Mine is around 3-8 minutes, mainly due to different series that require different lengths. As an example, Seekers is around 5-8 minutes, simply because it's more of a scene episode within the series.
 
I go based off of audience retention. I played around with times based off of my analytics and now I keep them at a length that my base will watch. Therefore I keep my videos to 2-4 minutes and based on current analytics most people watch everything except the outro.
