Why are some YouTube commenters so brutal???

This is an odd phenomenon on YouTube that I do not like. The death threats and all that crazy crap...

Why? is it for attention? I don't understand what I see in some of the bigger YouTuber comments...

On here we're all nice and helpful, what doe you guys think?

I think a lot of people are a lot braver behind a computer than in real life. It's most likely none of them would act on their threats but they feel like they can because somehow no one will find them. I don't understand it because it literally means they made the decision to be a horrible person. Did you read the article about the gamer who told on her trolls? She told their mom's because she found out how young a lot of them were.

I do agree that there's a lot of commentary people should just ignore but I also think there should be limits to what people can say and get away with. Some people are just horrible.

I can be an a** on Youtube. Most of the time I try not to since I comment with my video channel.
