Why are my videos screwed up after uploading?

lol yeah i know, it all points the the one PC.
 
Yeah, as the other person said it's most likely Youtube.

However, back on my other computer I wasn't able to upload videos but it turned out to be because I was missing some system files or something from a virus. So if it isn't Youtube (which I think it is) then it will be something stupid.
 
Have started an upload using IE, it'll take an hour so I'll post back when its done. This isnt my main YouTube account i have another but have the exact same problem with that one too.

It can't be YouTube, if i send the exact same file to my laptop and upload from there its fine. And that's proven because its happened to every video I've uploaded.

Also im pretty sure i don't have a virus because im all up to date with scans.
 
IE upload is up and it exactly the same. Will prepare a shorter clip tomorrow for testing, but im 99% sure that anything uploaded from the desktop will be screwed up and anything from the laptop will be fine.
 
I'm wondering if its a codec issue? Maybe your PC is doing something to the codec in your video output - once it uploads and youtube does its conversion its messing the video up, so although the output looks fine on the PC, once youtube converts and processes it, its messing the video up.
 
I bet it is youtube rather then your PC.
I was uploading a video a few days ago and it was constantly failing telling me to check the video.
The video was fine.
I tried 3 different PCs and it would say the same on each.
I then tried uploading from a MAC in exactly the same way, and it uploaded perfectly fine!!

I've since uploaded another 2 videos from Oc perfectly fine again!
