Who here has a channel trailer?

I'm curious to know how many members have trailers for their channels. I made one today for my channel.

Yup! I need to update it with my higher quality videos, my channel trailer has mostly my old stuff. It shows how random my videos can be, but doesn't show my new quality since upgrading cameras and software

I made one but then I never ended up using it, haha. I might come back to it though. I've yet to be /super/ convinced on how necessary it is for my channel. At least for me, I sub to art channels where I want to see more of their art, and I figure that out a lot faster by clicking over to the videos tab than watching a trailer.

That's interesting. Makes me wonder if it is worth it, to cater to that specific crowd of those who do want to watch it. I skip over any video that auto-plays anyway, trailer or not. I guess anyone like me could do that, and anyone like you would just sit back and relax. You're making me reconsider things now, haha.

It wouldn't hurt to have one. Some people like to see a preview. I'll watch someone's content if they have an interesting channel trailer. Sometimes they gain a new subscriber because of it.

True true. Perhaps once next month comes around, I'll look into continuing where I left off. The biggest downside is outdated-ness. Oh, how I wish YT would allow a re-upload feature for things like this ;o;
