You especially! That's a shitload of data to lose =/Each one of my videos is about 2 to 3Gb, I already have 300gb of raw footage on my HD but I agree putting my videos on an external would be a good idea.

You can always download the mp4 from YT! Not sure if the quality is the same, just an option that's available.Yes, I back-up all of my videos. It is a good precaution plus if I want to use a portion of a previous video, I have the file handy. I try to not leave videos on my hard drive once I am done making a video.

(I also store most of the original videos and project files) mainly so I can go back later and maybe attempt to make a montage or if I want to try and random editing I have loads of stuff to work off 
I've downloaded 3 livestreams of my own in one day before. They were all around 3 hours long as well. I am a partner though, so I'm not sure if there is a limit applied to regular accounts.Last I knew, we could only download one video per day.
