Who Agree's that you should always backup your youtube video content???

You can always download the mp4 from YT! Not sure if the quality is the same, just an option that's available.
 
I save all my rendered videos on a 1TB drive. That way if I want to ever use an old video in a new video, or if I want to re-upload a video, I have it stored away.
 
I agree, and I probably should do this considering I'm documenting my first year living on my own >.< I don't have money to buy external hardrives though.
 
Yeah, at a certain point, it's too much memory, and would cost too much on a website like that. I'm small now, but I'd love to have 1,000+ videos before I quit making videos, so that'd be a lot of memory.
 
I have a server or two in reserve as well as my own hosting, so I generally back-up content there. I don't have an external, but I do have an internal just for video editing before I even started. So regardless, yes, I back-up everything. Graphics, project files, conversions, raw file, and finished. I'd rather be safe than sorry and one day I might want to put those videos elsewhere and not just YouTube.
 
I have a 3TB External HD which I store all my videos after upload instead of deleting them :) (I also store most of the original videos and project files) mainly so I can go back later and maybe attempt to make a montage or if I want to try and random editing I have loads of stuff to work off :)

I've downloaded 3 livestreams of my own in one day before. They were all around 3 hours long as well. I am a partner though, so I'm not sure if there is a limit applied to regular accounts.
