When should I start looking to sign with a network?

In general: 10k views per month at least. 100k is better. 1m per month is even better.

If you are in talking with either of those networks, you can ask em my favorite question for a rapidly growing channel: do you have a better offer if I get bigger? What would that offer be? How big do I need to be to get it?

Then you wait to sign until they will offer you that deal.

Also, keep your options and ears open. Don't only consider 1 or 2 networks.
Do you know anything about Union For Gamers? Because they don't have a lock in contract and offer a 90/10 split.

Yes, I am aware of them. What I know about them is that their CPMs are all right, but not great.

I'd say CPMs are definitely overlooked: A good or great CPM means someone with a 60-40 could be out-earning someone with a 95-5 and a bad or only OK CPM.

Okay, and what is the best way to find out the CPM of a network?

Got to ask them or their partners. You also don't know if they are telling the truth, and they can always decline to answer. It isn't an number they neccisarily have on hand. They will often tell you the CPM numbers for the last few months if that is what what you request, then also try to make it look better by offering a few very high CPM channels.

532 subs in 5 weeks? Anyway, wait till you have alot of subscribers like 10k. If you go to them with a low sub count they will offer you a crappy contract that will offer you nothing.

Umm subscribers are nothing. I know this because I run a network myself. If any network has a requirement of subscribers its pretty stupid because networks are interested in the views because that's how YouTubers get paid.

UFG just goes off subs. They are the only network that does this too. Why, I don't know. But I've heard a lot of good things about them. It's just weird because you can have 1k subs but not a lot of views, due to inactive subs, or you can have a lot of views but not that many subs. So I don't know why there requirement is 1k subs.

Yup, which is why subs are effectively pointless when trying to determine channel size and even future growth/views.

Who are you partnered with? I don't think I've seen you say it on the forums..
With a CMS called OmniaMedia and their network SquareOne. Generally high requirements (500k-1m views per month if you apply, less if invited)

I wrote up a post after I decided to join them as I've done a ton of research into networks, focusing on gaming but kept my options open (where I'm at now isn't a gaming network).

It has everything I was looking for.

I'll go check it out. Thank as always.
