when people found out

I am a grown man, so I do not get phased by the silly comments of others. You have something cool as a hobby, something that allows you to speak to potential millions of people. Name me another hobby that facilitates that?

And, if you don't like my videos, don't waste your time watching them. And surely don't waste your time telling me how much I suck. Because I won't care. I do this for me first, and my viewer base second. Haters gonna hate.

I don't really talk about it, but people find out not so much because of my own channel, but I'm so many other videos, people catch wind of it and put 2 and 2 together. I seldom even talk about my videos on my (personal) Facebook page.

It comes with the territory, you are putting volumes of video on the WORLD WIDE web. Those same people not one to talk, considering the amount of time I'm sure they spend on Facebook or other sites.

When my friends found out, they were actually very supportive. Of course they joked about it here and there, but I always listened to them whenever they did. I found out what I should do to improve, what I'm doing right, and for me, it was a perfect opportunity to be better. I know it's being the butt of the jokes, but you can always pull something positive out of all of this :)[DOUBLEPOST=1419156919,1419156692][/DOUBLEPOST]

*I know it's hard being the butt of the jokes

When i was back in school, a year ago, my best friend told these people about it, and, before I knew it, the whole year knew about my channel and was hating on me for it, as I was creating videos for an audience of 30subscribers. But, I stuck at it, and after about 3months they had pretty much forgotten about it. But at college, in my group of friends, literally all of us has a youtube channel and none of them find it weird or odd and theres alot of support so thats pretty cool c: My best friend that I made at college has now become one of my main support for youtube and encourages me to create videos. The more subscribers I have, the less people begin to find it weird ;-;

I DID IT! I shared my channel with a FB group I've been a member of for 4 years...it was my daughters due date club....which now that they are all born, just a chat area for all of us around the world that had babies in 10/2011. I'm not brave enough to share with real people I know....but I just posted it in that private group. ---Closing eyes, holding my breath and trying not to delete my post before anyone reads it!---

I had one a while ago which I tried to do full time but friends disliked all the videos for "the giggles". So I made a new one and then made a mistake of posting an image on facebook to pretty much all my friends & family of my twitter. I immediately regretted that decision, but it actually turned out fine and everyone was just like "cool" and nothing became of it :D

I am waiting for the day that the students I teach find my channel about World of Warcraft. That will be very embarrassing. I actually have told myself "Never do Minecraft" videos because a bunch of them play and I feel they'd eventually see one of my videos.
