When have you 'made it' on YouTube?

I agree with everything you said, but I would also say that you can upload mostly anything and still get around the same number of views.

100K subscribers. Anything less and you're not part of the team. You get a plaque at 100K and not at any other level below that. So that should tell you something.

I agree I think I will feel like Ive made it when I get those "commented first"er's lmao & when I have people reacting to my reply's back with OMG haha #goals. I'm honestly waiting for that million dollar moment where I start getting comments about really helping or impacting someones life thats when I feel like I've made it
I think this would be my way of judging it too. I'm looking forward to that day, but I'm not near it yet. I still need to come out of my shell a bit on camera, like, I'll be thinking jokes in my head that I then don't say because I'm not sure people would appreciate it. So I think I have three things to look for:
  • "First"ers
  • "OMG this made my day/cheered me up" etc
  • "*insert joke here* was seriously funny!" etc~

I don't think there is necessarily a "Right" answer for this. Everyone's idea of making it is so different.
For me, I think it is when you as a creator are comfortable knowing you have a loyal supportive fanbase that is excited and waiting for you to produce more content, and that interacts with you regularly.
Vague I know, but everybody is different.
