When have you 'made it' on YouTube?

Another time more recent was when I replied to a comment and the OP fan girled saying OMG ive never had a Famous YouTuber reply to me!

Or do you think its once you hit a Subscriber milestone?

Or if you are earning lots of money?

Or if you get mentioned by other YouTubers or even the press?

Buddy i need to find out your channel details :-) . Every time i read your posts I somehow realize it's you. My eyes goes on channel name and than a smile comes up. Best regards and trust me from side point of view you are already succeeded. Tell me i'm wrong :-) . Hope you like to laugh

those first and second comments are so funny to see!

another thing that really shocked me was when i made a twitter and now i can really tell who is a serious fan!
they draw fanart, or attend every single stream when they can, or even start animating themselves saying the channel inspired them to try it.
before then I just assumed theres a lot of people that just like my vids, but now i really feel like theres a small group of them that are willing to support me and get to know me :D
and that is a magical feeling lol

Imo, you made it on youtube once you you can make living just off of youtube just by creating content they truly like that is also supported by an existing audience of theirs.
But thatss pretty subjective. Someone can consider they made it once they reach a milestone of some sorts of idk.
 
I agree I think I will feel like Ive made it when I get those "commented first"er's lmao & when I have people reacting to my reply's back with OMG haha #goals. I'm honestly waiting for that million dollar moment where I start getting comments about really helping or impacting someones life thats when I feel like I've made it
 
I think it basically means YouTube has become your full time job or if you hit around 150,000 active subscribers.
I'd be lying if I wouldn't have said I wouldn't love for that to happen to me, but I have to live in the real world..
 
For me I knew I was heading in the right direction when I started getting contacted by several national tv channels. I thought it was really cool but also figured that was a little bit of luck. It kept me motivated to continue what I was doing. You never know who is watching. I felt like I "made it" when several people started commenting and messaging saying that I had inspired them to start their own projects and take their own journeys.
