What's Your Process?

I was just wondering, exactly what steps do you guys take in making a video? From idea to upload, what do you swear by in terms of efficient quality content creation?

I want to be able to streamline my process and shave time off the recording and editing steps in particular. I believe it would allow me to be much more consistent with making videos, even within my current schedule.
 
First I plan my video then I record it. Next I have to split and edit put parts I don't want. Lastly I compress my video and then I upload it!
 
Well I've found that my "process" doesn't work anymore. Just because when I try to set up a nice easy way to get a video done something unexpected almost always comes up ruining my progression. I just wing it now, if it seems like a good idea I implement it in the video.
 
First up is writing. Second step is writing. Third step is writing. Then we start revision ;) Seriously, we work really hard to make our writing the very best.

Second is recording the voices, or in the case of comedic music, the instrumental parts and then vocals. Next comes the shot sheet and, if we're feeling it is necessary, an animatic. I do the lip syncing and Thrashador does the heavy animation stuff (any and all art assets would be created during any step in this process in free time). Lastly, it goes into editing, everything is put together, sound effects are added, and then it gets rendered.
 
I usually set up Photoshop and hypercam than I start working and recording, I do this until something that I like pops. Than I find a royalty free song and some sound effects, next I edit the video, upload it and get some annotations and the description, add a custom thumbnail DONE.

When will I be able to see your first video?

We have been thinking about making a trailer, and have a rough draft, but it is on the back burner honestly. If we ever make it, it'll be after September.

so the video will come by September and after that when everything is over you guys will release the trailer of the video after September.
