What's your opinion

people that search for trending topics tend to video hop. They want their info from as many people as they find and will rarely subscribe.
unless you really bring out your personality in the video, it's funny, or you made brief mention of your other content at the end.

I have a football/FIFA game channel, which I feel to be quite saturated. But I've tried offering something unique in that I create content surrounding my country's national league. The A-League. I've got more ambitious plans to go with it too. Just not ready for it yet lol

Trending Topics: I mean.. you may get a lot of views because that's pretty smart to post something about a trending topic. It's something people would take the time to search for and listen to. But at the same time, you have to know how to do that video. It could blow up if you are using the right tags and titles and what not.. so it's kind of iffy but in a way I think it's better off finding your niche because people will like you for you and your content and not just you and the trending topic that most likely won't deal with anything on your channel.
Really helpful advice Thnaks!!!

I 100% have content that is not at all current, and I haven't seen too many people doing things in the way that I do, and I'm growing slowly but steadily. I know that I'm not going to be the next big thing, but that's not my goal, so it's okay.

Do you think it's possible to get noticed fast without making vids on trending topics.
No. To get noticed fast you need to keep up with trends. It will be a slow ride. I'm in a similar boat, I can't keep up with all the new games, I'm always behind.
