What's the hardest milestone to reach? (In subscriber count)

I would absolutely LOVE to have 1000 subscribers lol.
Lol I inderstand. Two things I would like to say about this:

First of all we are humans and they tend to be never satisfied about what we have and always want more :D. When I reached 1000 subs first day was like: WOOHOO! Now I want 10.000 :P.

Second is some lucky things happened to my channel where I got some nice kickstart from my channel from the first week. I think in parallel universes under the same conditions I wouldn't have these amounts of views and subs :P and might even have quit.

My main message is that we should be satisfied with what we have, and look at how we could improve it (if you want). Don't compare yourselves to other because that's making you mad :)

I don't even have 50 subscribers lol. That's why I'd love 1000. That's 1000 people that at the very least are getting bugged when I make a new video. Hopefully they're watching some of them.

EDIT: I do appreciate every subscriber I have though. I think a lot of them don't watch anymore because I stopped making videos on a regular basis. Actually, I was never that regular now that I mention it...

I can imagine it completely, looks perfect to me :D
I hope someday that day will come... :D[DOUBLEPOST=1431860623,1431860488][/DOUBLEPOST]

I get your point, if you want you could start aiming for that and really try making it work :D. I must say a small percentage of my subs actually watches my latest videos... But I think that's normal in Youtube world.

Who told you that? Pewdiepie? Smosh?

I think I agree with this....

I managed to get 1000 subs, but I think I won't ever get 1million subs in my lifetime...
You just need to send your channel info to the TV show My Cat from Hell and you will have instant stardom on Animal Planet. Just keep on squealing and you will get there.

I think 0-100 and 100-500 can be equally difficult. At first, you're just starting out with no YouTube footprint at all, then once you have 100 subscribers and a good amount of views, you have to push your content to a new level to keep current subscribers and continue gaining new ones.

That's a good point, you definitely have to work just as hard once you get past 100 subscribers as it's not usually smooth sailing right from there, not until at least 1000.

After the 1000 subs it's definitely not what I would like to call smooth sailing. I need to keep working on it :)

I'd imagine it's still much smoother than being at 100 subscribers though, but I get what you're saying, of course you still gotta work really hard after you reach 1,000 subscribers and it can be really hard to grow still at that number :)

That's true, but I could say I'm growing at constant rate from 200 subs. Point is, when you gain 5 subs a day at 200 feels better then 5 subs a day when I'm at thousand.

Unfortunately I did not experience the exponential growth yet. I hoped it would take off from there, but it's not, not for me at least.

Oooh, I never looked at it like that before, that's an interesting perception :o
