Well, I like to keep mine around 15 minutes per episode, I can easily watch long ones if I like the person, but most of the time, 10-15 minutes should be fine.
I keep it around 12-15 mins per episode. I don't usually go over that unless there is a reason to. Like its in the middle of something, a boss battle for example.
Try a few at 5-10 minutes (also depends on the game). Ask viewers for their opinion and if they get really into it and find you interesting, extend the length.
I would honestly start with 5-minute let's play videos. The reason is because if you're not that known by people then they probably won't watch a long video. So I would do 5 minutes. Definitely no longer than 10 minutes.
In general I try to keep mine at 15 min or less. Lately I added a new series with me running through WoW dungeons, and I really don't want to edit out any part of that since it's a let's play / walk-through sort of thing so each video is basically about as long as it takes me to finish that instance.
It depends if I really like the person I would watch a really long video, but as a viewer I like people that do 10-15 min lets plays with the occasional video under 5 mins.
I think it depends on the game, the person and what footage from the game you're showing me. I wouldn't watch a 30 min Let's play of Minecraft where I just see someone digging out their cave or crafting stuff, that's dull. But I'd watch an interesting person play a story packed game for 30 min.
