My first experience actually discovering the concept of creator's channels and subscribing was with iJustine, but for the life of me I can't remember how I discovered her first video... Maybe it was actually Shaytards? I remember finding their channel while looking at cute dog videos and one of their videos about Malachy showed up in the suggested video sidebar.
My first very experience with YouTube was the "annoying" video.
The one with the college kids in the bunk beds and the top bunk guy won't let Aaron sleep? Classic lol.
I think my first experience with the idea of YouTube being a place with channels and interesting content that you could subscribe to (rather than the awareness I'd always had of it being 'that place where you look if you can't figure out how to do something and need a tutorial') was when I was questioning my sexuality and my searching led me to a load of LGBT YouTubers' channels.
