What's up Vloggers, Film Makers, Incredible People, and etc.?!?!?!

I'm curious to know what your first time vlogging/recording in public was like! Mine was pretty nerve wrecking although I was in a semi empty mall.movie theater lol. I vlogged my experience and it is on my Channel if you would like to check it out. The video is called, "Deadpool Movie Experience" if you would like to check it out and please subscribe.

Let's share our experiences and make this a fun, interactive conversation!!!

The first time I vlogged in public was at a convention so it wasn't too much of a weird occurrence. However the first time I vlogged in public outside of a con space was, like you said, pretty nerve racking.

I become so self-conscious when I vlog, even when I'm around my parents. I just feel like everyone is judging me so hard

That is how I was at first and honestly I still am at times but whenever I take my eyes off of my camera and happen to see someone watching, I sort of laugh it off and include it in my video so that way it makes it less nerve wrecking for me and more so like a joke in a way so that the viewer will think that those sorts of things don't bother me. It's sort of like a reverse psychology tactic I guess. Trust me, you will get over it pretty quickly if you remain focus. Good Luck and please check out my Channel!

Nice!!!! Which convention did you go to?
The first one I vlogged was Motaku 2014, a very small convention that is currently not even a thing. I've also been to Naka-kon 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016 (My first and the largest con I've been to), Motaku 2013, G.A.M.E. 2015 (a very small one room convention in Springfield, MO), and Cosplacon 2016 (My new favorite).[DOUBLEPOST=1469211049,1469210964][/DOUBLEPOST]

This is why I prefer to do all my filming when no one else is home, but it does get progressively easier and you'll get more confident the more you do it.

I don't feel too nervous, but I never vlog in my hometown it's always when I'm on trips. I do feel a bit silly when I'm talking to the camera in front of my friends or family.

I'm one of those people that has no problem FaceTiming people in public, but when it comes to take my camera out, people know I'm just talking to myself. That's what makes it scary. I guess I just need to stop wimping out and do it.

When I was with other people it was no problem but, the first time ALONE was pretty awkward. I'm from New York though and people are always doing something strange so it doesn't bother me much now.
