Tell me your experience!

As for me, I am still very new to Youtube. I had some issues with Elgato not picking up sound but fixed that due to my computer knowledge. Also had issues with crashing mid video but also resolved that. I haven't gotten too discouraged yet. Though I am still new I wish I could grow faster, but it will all come in time! I am worried that I will fall out of it or that something may get broken/not work anymore equipment wise. I do aspire to get a large channel, but that isn't why I made my channel in the first place. I was super nervous and didn't talk much. Came more out of my shell my second video though.

I went into it doing minecraft videos just for fun. I started uploading for about 2 months on a random schedule. I eventually fell in love with it and kept doing it til now :)

What was it like for you at the start of your channel? Procrastination. Not sure on a name, et cetera. But I think it was mostly excuses because I feared doing it somehow.
Did you get discouraged at all? Ooooh yes. After a few days I was like.. I'm stupid, I should just quit. What was I thinking? But a day later, I thought... I'm enjoying this way too much to stop.
Any tech issues you had? My webcam janked up sometimes. and some lighting issues.. not really a tech problem, though. Lol. Some audio issues too, at the start.
Worries? Dreams? etc. Well... I wouldn't say I have many dreams with it right now. I'm just having fun with it at the moment. Worries.. Just that people would react negatively from the very start, shooting me down before I can even get in the air, you know what I mean? But so far I've had really great feedback, including from a couple people here on Yttalk. :)
What was it like when you made your first video? Incredibly fun. Stress free. Silly. Idk, it was afterward that I started judging it and what I was doing.

What was it like for you at the start of your channel? It was simple. I just needed somewhere to show my videos online. But my channel still hasn't gotten much momentum.
Did you get discouraged at all? I get discouraged often. I wonder if I should continue to do things that will appeal to more people or keep doing the weird stuff I do.
Any tech issues you had? At times, I would upload a video and it would get stuck in processing! ANNOYING!
Worries? Dreams? etc. I dream of getting 50 subs by 2015. LOL. But one day I dream to have some fans. But I have to work hard!
What was it like when you made your first video? My first video was so fun! It was called "The Picnic" and I pretty much had a lot of fun. It was earlier this summer and my friend and I were so excited!

I saw your play of Amnesia sir! keep up the good work!

Well after i killed my twin brother when i was still in the womb and got out i grew up starting to develop skills in music production and putting it out on youtube it was difficult. Barely any exposure but with time i learned more about SEO and what works what not so its kinda getting there.

What was it like for you at the start of your channel?
It was slow. Really slow. Like no subs for 2 months, and like 1 view per vid if I'm lucky.

Did you get discouraged at all?
Yeah, a bit, in fact a lot but I'm glad I didn't give up.

Any tech issues you had?

More than ever! Video lag and bad audio qualities.

Worries? Dreams? etc.
Worries, everyone has them.
One day I hope to be well-known and inspire others.

What was it like when you made your first video?

Really daunting...

Very easy and exciting. Guess that's why it's so much hard work and stress now-I took a reverse path. :p

In all seriousness, I was one of those people who's first upload really took off. Sometime between 2009-2010 as a request to see one of my animations easier someone told me to upload it to YouTube instead (MySpace was the place I used to share them back then). Turns out tons of people liked it. It got me an e-mail from YouTube inviting me to monetize it and thus the foundations for my channel began.

I don't regret that first upload as much as what I regret doing after it. Seeing the potential for money after the fact really changed things but let's end this post on a positive note. Ha.

What was it like for you at the start of your channel?
Well, I didn't really care about numbers. I just wanted to create gaming videos and upload them to YouTube. I was basically practicing making videos and editing. ;)

Did you get discouraged at all?
Yeah, I had some off-days. But I never gave up because off my passion.

Any tech issues you had?
Oh stop it, way too many! Corrupted files, microphones that stopped working, computer crashes. xD

Worries? Dreams? etc.
Worries: No, not really. Just remember that YouTube is just for fun. It's my way of entertaining myself, but more important, entertaining others!
Dreams: Yes, but nothing money wise or something. I just want to keep creating videos and keep entertaining people! That's my dream, become a big YouTuber to entertain even more people.

What was it like when you made your first video?
It was rubbish, haha! I recorded Call of Duty 4 and did the first mission but I died and died and the video was laggy and stuff. Glad I improved!

What was it like for you at the start of your channel?
Well, It was weird and boring because I was so disappointed with my voice and all.. I just wanted to set me free from the Weakness of my voice...
Did you get discouraged at all?
Yes, when I heard my voice I thought "I'll never be any thing"
Any tech issues you had?
Yes. Can you believe my computer broke when I started making videos? It's still broken and I don't have money to buy a new one... Thus I record and edit it on my iPad.
Worries? Dreams? etc.
My only worry is to keep my stuff original and authentic, I hate when I have nothing to create or develop, so I have to get inspired by others... Here in Brazil I am trying to be the most original as I can be, because we're flooded of youtubes copying each other.

My dream is to get bigger and live of it until my 29,30...

What was it like when you made your first video?
Hahaha silly... I didn't know how to cut and edit a video, so I had to record a lot of times until it gets better as it could... My accent was strong and my voice nervous... A mess

First video I ever uploaded was an unedited vlog about Super Bowl XLIII (2009).

In 2013 I began a gaming-related thing, where I knew virtually nothing about video editing. Considering the newbie I was I've done OK with little I have. ;)
