What video editing software do YOU use?

I used Final Cut 7 and Final Cut X at school for the past four years. But because it costs so much money and don't have a mac I bought adobe premiere elements 12 (a striped down version of premiere pro) and I am teaching my self to use it. I plan on starting a new channel soon and that is what I will use to edit my videos. However, if you go to my CoolMoo5 channel, the videos there are edited using WindowsMovieMaker and some of them have no editing at all.

As much as I love Adobe (loving Photoshop CS5 + Lightroom for design and photography work) I have to say after being brought up with almost 10 years of Sony Vegas it's hard to kick the habit and make the switch to Premiere / Final Cut :)

I use Pinnacle Studios and sometimes VideoPad Video Editor with PS is giving me problems. I would also like to use Premiere at some point.

I've been using Magix Movie edit pro. I found the layout to be quite easy to get to grips with for a beginner

Adobe CC is probably the greatest thing at the moment and also under their new payment structure it actually makes it affordable.

Currently, I'm using iMovie - a program that's preinstalled once you get a Macbook. It's very basic, but it gets the job done.

I'm looking to get into Lightworks though.. :3

I personally use Adobe After Effects and Final Cut Pro X for special effects and editing :) I think I will try to master Adobe Premiere for editing because it works very well combined to after effects because of dynamic links...

Final Cut Pro X. It's got some issues at the moment, but it is still a very good editor. The main reason it's been getting so many bad reviews is because it wasn't what people were expecting coming from FCP 7. It's a very good editor, it's just not up to "professional" standards to many people.
