An accent. Having an interesting voice seems to automatically make your content more interesting. Pair that with a decent sense of humor, a flair for creating, and somewhat interesting content = a good time~
Well, video editing skills foremost. Public speech since you kinda are in front of an audience. Possibly some acting, scripwriting. It really depends on what type of YouTuber you are tho.
Being a YouTube can give skills in everything! Dependent on what you make you learn script writing, video editing, marketing, public speaking, team management, time management, audio editing, PR skills and so on. Doing YouTube is a crash course in everything and everything you learn is transferable
Video editing is the obvious one. Social media management and SEO skills are what companies look for. Also, acting, script writing, camera/sound/lighting operation, and graphic design. A youtuber is a jack of all trades.
I would love to learn how to make more life like animations and even venture into Adobe Flash. I currently work with Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects but I pay for the whole Creative Suite so I have access to Adobe Flash. I've worked with Flash in college but only briefly and only scratched the surface. I would love to make longer animations as well. Currently mine are either a little over a minute or less and they take a while to create! I hope to become faster at animating one day too! My brother has started to make his own sound effects as well, so he wants to use more original sounds and voice acting.
