Across all my channels it's consistently very low, the percentage that come from subs, but I don't upload often. On this channel, for my last video, only 339 of my subscribers watched the first week (out of 19k). That works out to around .06% (analytics says .1 but it doesn't go lower than that). My other channels are similar percentages. Same thing with overall views/subs. The percentage of subs that make up my views .069%
That's crazy. Why do people even subscribe if not to watch your videos? And how did you get 19k views if not subscribers? Isn't that like having to get something to go viral over and over again?

It's called the power of the suggested video algorithm. Most of my traffic comes from my videos being suggested on other people's videos. Really, anyone with over 20 million views but less than 1 million subs has done so because of the suggested video traffic source. I have 65 million or so (I forget) views on this channel and none of the videos on this channel have ever gone viral in the truest sense of the word. Isn't that crazy to think about? Never mass-shared on social media, never featured on any TV shows or prominent Facebook pages or blogs. Hell, I had a video on another channel recently of a flying pumpkin wrecking my drone that only has 300,000 views but went more "viral" than any of the videos on this channel. And I don't know why guys subscribed. People like certain content and maybe hit subscribe as a way of acknowledging that. Also, I hardly ever upload to this channel, so there is that.

I have a lot of inactive subscribers due to a break I took a while ago, but I still get a lot of views to say I was inactive for a year. I don't mind. My videos slowly work their way up, and I'm pleased with how well they do.

Over the last few months it has been about 19% of my views come from subcribers. I think it is probably due to my lack of consistency, but hopefully I will be able to get more consistant after this school semester. From what I have read 30% is about the average/what you should be shooting for.

I voted the last one. Actually my answer would be more than 200%. The average number of the views of my videos is 14.000 while my subscribers are only 5500 lol

lol, for the last 28 days, out of all the views my whole channel received, 0.87% came from subscribers.
Within the first week of uploading 4 of my recent videos:

  1. 362 views. 270 (75%) not subscribed, 92 (25%) subscribed. 1.5% of the subscribers I had when it was uploaded watched it in the first week.
  2. 448 views. 312 (70%) not subscribed, 136 (30%) subscribed. 2.1% of the subscribers I had when it was uploaded watched it in the first week.
  3. 207 views. 120 (58%) not subscribed, 87 (42%) subscribed. 1.3% of the subscribers I had when it was uploaded watched it in the first week.
  4. 1,119 views. 814 (73%) not subscribed, 305 (27%) subscribed. 5% of the subscribers I had when it was uploaded watched it in the first week.
Obviously I have a terrible, terrible channel. The first 2 videos were based on decently-known music videos. The 3rd one was a very unknown artist and music video, and video 4 was the opening theme song to a popular kids show. All 4 of them were requested by viewers.
