What not to tell on YouTube

People just know me what they want to know, my 'character' Mark Rodriguez. All my facebook and twitter stuff is all linked to my online persona, not the real me.

Well, I haven't shared my real last name, but it would be pretty easy for people to figure out via facebook and that sort of thing. And heaps of the people that watch me know me in real life anyway. I just make sure I don't film in front of my house, or include details about where I work or went to school, and that sort of thing. I also haven't filmed or given details about my family on camera. But I'm not especially worried about this, I've always been pretty comfortable with the amount of information I share on the internet.

My viewers know my first name, they can find my last name if they find my Facebook, which I don't really give out, but I don't hide it. They know what town I live in, but not the address. They don't know my phone number, or my personal email address (I have my youtube email out there for contact reasons). I've mentioned a store I go to a lot, but there is so many you wouldn't be able to figure it out lol.

The most personal thing they knew is my phone password, which I accidentally showed one day, but that does them no good haha.

Things like your friend's names, your family member's names, birth dates... Don't give out your phone number, personal email or Facebook, unless you have come to trust them.
Don't reveal things like where you hang out, shop, or where you take your singing classes.
lovin the new avatar!
