What makes you want subscribe to a channel?

it's kind of hard to pinpoint exactly. I rarely subscribe to channels though but the ones that I am subbed to vary from very high production videos to literally a person not editing and speaking into a camera. I think it's just a combination of good camera presence and realness. other times, it's for information purposes etc.
 
Well, if you watch enough of some videos, that channel starts showing up on your main page. So I'd say it's best to subscribe if you want to know exactly when something new hits. Maybe to also get first in on comments
 
The one thing my channel fails to provide, entertainment. #selfburn
I only hav a handful of channels I sub to, maybe like 15? Main reason I sub is if they have something I find entertaining at the time. For example... markiplier was fun back in 5nights...now his voice annoys me and my gf, gets rly repetitive with him so I unsub. I like news to I got scares and drama. I like scary story's when im at work...so on so forth.
 
if they keep steady around a theme (simulation games as an example) its easy for me to connect with what id be expecting in future.
if they do all sorts then I am going to need to really connect with them as a person to sub.

that is exactly what I felt. He used to have this great deep voice with the odd scare, and now he shouts constantly. I'm still subbed and i try to watch, but I feel I've become a dead subscriber over time.

thanks, i am in a mid youtube life crisis and i am trying to re-organize my channel. Elmo was so successful in my channel it overshadowed everything else and now my current subscribers just want to see more elmo :D Hey i don't blame them but channel was never meant for him.. unless i make it a review channel and elmo vids.. that makes little since to me, so he has his own channel (just look up evil elmo) , i just don't promote it much because it needs more content.

Totally! If the person isn't enjoying the video their making...it almost becomes painful to watch!
