What made you do Youtube?

My fiancee and I started out because so many people on a game we played would come to us asking for help all the time. We started to make video guides on how to do stuff in the game and now we just upload random game videos.
 
Well, I started making gaming videos because I find it that playing it alone sucks, so I decided to record myself playing. I am not a talkative person so it's quite hard back then, but I guess that changed.:D
 
My friend kept bugging me join. So one day I joined and that same day I uploaded my first video. Yes, I gave into peer pressure.

Before I joined I had heard of YouTube but I had only watched a few videos, and I just thought it was a site for cat videos and music videos. I had no idea it was full of people creating original content.
 
Finally a way to review videos games, movies and things... and have other people watch it and comment. =D That was the main draw to it. Every since I saw Video Power and Gamepro TV I've been wanting my very own video game review show... and now I have it!!! Sorta. LOL
 
I did Youtube because I am studying right now in college.....I needed activities that would freshen me up!
Get my mind off Studies
I decided to open a channel, all official and glossy,....create videos for people to pass their time ENJOYFULLY :p.....
 
I am a person who has absolutely zero filter. I like living my life on my own rules and my own terms. All I've wanted to do was to meet great people, laugh, and build a network of fun-loving people just like myself. This is also why I'm so happy I joined YT Talk :)
 
First I wanted to just express my opinions. Then I noticed how amazing the experience of youtube is overall. Being able to express yourself in any way, meeting so many people, being able to create something for people to enjoy. I quit my first channel because I was worried someone would find it.I regret it and I would never do that again :)
 
I started out as a blogger. And I still blog, motivation/inspiration and in January 2012, I just had the idea to start my first inspirational vlog. I was basically doing the same thing I already loved doing, but just doing it in front of a camera. I have a heart and passion to inspire and motivate people, that's the driving force behind why I started.
 
I started doing Youtube as i had a passion for Call of Duty and thought if i enjoyed it why not share it with others :)
