What is wrong with Quizgroup?

If anything, it's facebook who needs a major lawsuit on its a** considering how much damn video footage is stolen on there with no system to take it down fast.
Which is why if I do post there, I only either do YT embeds from my own channels, or let TubeBuddy post a video for me just after I release it on YouTube. Maybe FB will also be "stung" in the months or years to come.

Dear Partners,

You have probably noticed, we had released many channels. We invest much efforts to stay in a full compliance with all last adjustments YouTube is making to keep the platform clean. We are the only network that granted our partners the longest period to bring all their channels into the full compliance with all YouTube rules, regulations and recommendations.

Please, take into account the following points:

- if you have a third party claim and had not started a dispute, it's a sign you use infringing content. YouTube may either suspend monetization of your channel or even terminate it without any special notice. We suggest you to start a dispute immediately if you're sure the rights are in your hands;

- if you have more than one strike, and it doesn't matter what type of strikes you deal with, copyright or TOU, your channel may be terminated by YouTube. YouTube may suspend your channel monetization as well;

- we face the cases when YouTube terminates channels having even one strike. The most cases are about having one copyright strike unsolved.

Please do your best to clean up your channels and get sure you meet all recent YouTube adjustments. We shall keep scanning our network looking for the channels impacting our YouTube statistics in a negative way. We hope for your understanding and cooperation.

We do our analysis across partners' accounts. If a partner has both clean and risky channels, we release ALL channels, not just the risky ones. YouTube does an analysis in the same way. Remember, risky channels ALWAYS cause a problem with your clean channels. It's just a matter of time. That is why we release ALL channels if we have noticed a problem with a partner.

The partners who do not use infringing content and fully obey the rules have no risks to get their channels terminated or face monetization suspended. They shall stay with us in the coming 2016 making even more money on YouTube.

You may notice many gossips about QuizGroup in the social networks because of the many channels we have just released. Let us assure you, we have an effective contract with Google and all our operation activities are going well.

We have finished payments to our partners for November and shall provide payments for December in a regular way.

We wish you to enjoy a festivity season!

Best regards,
The QuizGroup Team[DOUBLEPOST=1451177209,1451177137][/DOUBLEPOST]im surprised i haven't been unlinked tbh

This would be a first. I looked at some youtube video about it and on their youtube page their connect channels number keeps going down. In the video made there weer 105k connected channels, checked now and its down to 100k even. Would be a first where youtube shut down an MCN and mass unlinked (but the unlinking isn't instant it seems). That or quizgroup how a harsh warning/strikes and is now i nthe process of purging every channel that is a liability with its stolen content (which they profited and allowed for years) in an attempt to save it.

Edit: watching a russian made video, apperantly quiz group was liquidated in november of 2015 so i wonder who's running it right now.

YouTube brought in their new policy in September of this year that MCNs could not have more than 1,000 channels suspended/ terminated within 90 days. Most MCNs unlinked some amount of channels after this was announced, some MCNs were even suspended (for 90 days) with no promise of being re-enabled shortly after this policy came into place.

Then at the end of last month they upgraded their ContentID system and ran it on all old videos, they warned this would cause a huge jump in the number of terminations.
I would say it is likely that QG were possibly under the 1,000 without the Nov update but that it moved them way above it once rolled out.

About the liquidation, it's possible they just sold the company or moved it under another company but if not, I wouldn't be surprised as it seemed alot of QuizGroup, to my eye atleast 80% was copyright/ spam channels. (atleast of the sample I looked at anyway which was of approx. 15K channels).
