What is the best format to render my videos?

Before I received any replies I decided to go with the Main Concept version of mp4 and it took a little more than 3 hours to render. Now that I am uploading it to Youtube, it seems to be taking much longer than usual. The timer says it will take an hour and a half which is twice longer than my videos usually take. It may be my laptop which is not powerful at all (dual core processor). Thank you to everyone who replied. :)
 
I would recommend you always render in 720p (faster), if you are a quality freek then use 1080p, but always render in H.264 (mp4) it is compressed but it has a great quality! Easy to upload to YT :)
