What is the best annotation color to use?

I'm wondering if there is a color that you use to have people click on the annotations. I usually use YouTube's red color.

It really depends is on the video at the time. If the video is a very white colour I'll probably use black if I want it to stand out, or a light grey if I want it to fit in seamlessly with the video. It all depends on context
