What is a good growth rate?

Idk, growth rate is pretty subjective. Some channels suddenly take off, others consistently gain a few subscribers per week. Some only gain subscribers when they post a new video, or promote their channel themselves. For me, I just celebrate the new subscribers I get each day and not compare myself to other channels too much, since it's about my own growth anyway, and as long as I'm putting out the best content I can and promoting as much as I'm able, I will be happy with it. :D

First of all 113 subs after 2 months is really good.

Secondly this:
Well thanks everyone for getting me depressed. My growth rate has been slow by any measure above! :(
You can't say that you should have a certain amount of subscribers after a certian amount of time. By doing that people who doesn't meet your "requirements" (as myself) can take it like a bad thing and feel demotivated. It's a lot more to the equation than just time and subs

Lastly I want to mention that it took Ali-A one year to get 100 subs. Now he has one channel with 8m subs and one with 2.5m.

I think it's best not to put too much emphasis on subscribers when one just started. It may demoralize the creator if there is no growth. Just continue creating videos and surely these numbers will come on.

Honestly there isn't a clear answer for it! It really varies, you may get no subs but sometimes you may get 5-10 subs a day. But I say don't stress over the numbers and just do it for fun.

Lots of people on these forums express sentiments like this. I'm coming up on my one year anniversary on YouTube. I've been posting at least weekly (much more recently), and I only have 23 subscribers. So...

Hi there, sorry I didn't see this post. You have 25 subs now. That 25 subs are real people who actually enjoyed your video. Isn't that something to be happy about too? Have you tried going on social media to communicate with people who plays the same game as you do? It helps a little with exposure.

People like us who started late gets drowned in the pool of other more popular YouTubers. All their videos ranked top searches where the rest have no exposure at all. Think through the 1 year and see where can you improve on and post more on social media. By no means I am a successful YouTuber as I just started too. I just do my best in my videos and because the content of the video is my passion, I can easily relate to and discuss wih other like minded individual in the social media space.

Just my 2 cents and as cliche as it may be, don't give up
