what if i really see youtube as a career?

I'm in university at the moment and youtube was always something I wanted to try so I started my channel when I started university with the thought of "i'll stick at it until I finish my degree and see where I get". I'd love to have youtube as my career one day because I really love making videos, but it's so competitive I know it might not happen, but a girl can dream!

It is sooo important to have goals! However, until you reach that necessary exposure to sustain a living every single day, I wouldn't be so quick to nix any other options! Have small goals, work towards other types of work as well, and just see where it takes you!

Good luck :)
Exactly that's the plan I don't plan on quoting my days until I'm secure[DOUBLEPOST=1479838904,1479838782][/DOUBLEPOST]

I believe everyone has an audience and I'm so optimistic that I know imma do it I just gotta keep going no breaks

I sometimes wish that I could just dedicate all of my time in YouTube but I know I can't. I love everything about YouTube but I just can't give up on my dreams. If that is what you really want, then I wish you all the best and hope that you accomplish your goals.

When you want to make YouTube as your Job, then you must act as if it was your job. Even more: You must treat it like a start-up business where you are your own boss. I have written a very very long article in this forum under tips and tricks!

One thing that you should definately do is: As long as you can handle YouTube as a side job, keep it as a side job. Once you quit everything else and focus on YouTube, you have to make sure that you can make a living out of your incomes from YouTube. You don't get into a plane with 20% fuel. You need 100% for a long flight!
