Final Cut Pro X as well. I came from using FCP7 and Sony Vegas, but I prefer the new final cut obviously

That's actually a good follow on question then: What system specs do you guys have and how easy is it to edit large videos? Don't know if there is a separate thread for this.It handles great, but if you need it for editing big and 6 or more video's with a length of 10 mins, you'll need a very good pc/mac
I have the Mac 4GB Ram i7. I don't know if it's a problem with the mac or premiere pro, but everytime I try to edit video's that are longer than ten minutes, the video lags sometimes. (Just in the viewing screen, not if rendered offcourse). But maybe it's because the sequence settings don't match my source, because the settings for gameplay vids are different than the settings for my facecam, but I have to add them to the same timeline so yeah. That's actually a good follow on question then: What system specs do you guys have and how easy is it to edit large videos? I think I have similar specs to you, except in the MacBook Pro. Editing seems to be fine for me, but then I am running Final Cut Pro X, and don't need to import game footage. I will be cropping videos, chroma keying, adding backgrounds and custom text in future videos, so maybe then I will encounter lags... but if that's the case I'd probably upgrade to a Mac Pro anyway.I have the Mac 4GB Ram i7. But I'd say it's fearly easy to edit video's, just cut delete, cut delete...
And perfect program for adding a facecam, you can just click on the video and crop it the size you want it!
One thing I won't reccommend: If you already edited a file in game capture HD (gameplay capture software) then the sound will be messed up in premiere pro if you import it. Don't know that's because of me or not, but going to make a thread about it right now!
Hope this helped, if you have questions, feel free to ask!
An Adobe fan! Rock on sir!premiere pro :]
