Best version is 11 for sure

Best thing about Sony Vegas is that you are able to install Extensions, Plugins etc to add extra effects on your video files. If you search around properly or have the correct resources then it shouldn't be a problem for you to get the "plugins".

By far the best has to be the Extensions as you are able to directly upload to YouTube after rendering has been completed, pretty amazing I must say.
