what do you use to record and why?

I use a HD webcam from Logitech all though I never record in HD with it. I also am just starting to use the camera built into my galaxy tablet...I honestly can't stand these "pads" but the hd camera and self record camera are pretty nice in it. I also use a blue snowball mic. And for screen capturing software I use fraps for some games and bandicam for most of the other games and anything I need to record off the desktop.

I swear by Screenflow. I use it to record and edit, and it's marvellous!
