What do you use to create thumbnails? And why?

Photoshop cs6, just because it was the first application I thought of, and I just learnt it.

Learn once, because I couldn't be assed learning another program.

I use cooltext.com for text and Paint.NET to put it all together.

I use PowerPoint because I have it on my computer, it's fast and works for my needs.

I use GIMP because of how easy it is but I plan on searching for a more complicated / better software

I was wondering what you guys use to create thumbnails. I know some people just download them from google. But I use mine in Photoshop and I was wondering what about you guys. I personally use Photoshop because it has a lot of options and advanced options. Also it's kind of easy for new people as their are a lot of templates online you can download and edit. What about you guys?

I mainly use illustrator in combination with cinema4d and photoshop for my clients and personal thumbnails, gives a really cool final touch to the project having some 3d in it

Photoshop! Why? Because it has a lot of options to make your thumbnails look fingerlicking good!

We use Photoshop and Illustrator, because it's the most robust software. And we make them from scratch.

I use photoshop and I try to take a still from my video and (for my vlogs) will add the vlog title into the thumbnail

For me it would definitely be photoshop cc 2014, fast and imo easier to use
