What do girls think of YouTubers?

i think it's perceived as a lot less "weird" as it used to be, whether you're a girl or a guy. nowadays there's so many people making videos that it's rare to be judged for it anymore, some people may just be surprised at first. plus, anyone who wouldn't want to talk to you because of a hobby you have that makes you happy probably sucks anyway.
 
Don't really considering something you would toss in with your repertoire of pick up lines.

I rarely bring it up unless the girl is really into Youtube, has her own channel or is considering starting her own channel. It also doesn't help that my channel covers mostly nerdy and geeky stuff so I would also have to waste time explaining what Nerd Block is and Street Fighter and Dragonball and whatnot.

unless she's a geek herself. You'd be surprised how many girls are into gaming, anime, retro stuff, you name it!

I play old ps1 games on my twitch and I've met another 8 girls into the same games too :) more than I expected in the small speed run community I'm in.

personally if someone mentioned YouTube id love to hear it :) its a great hobby to have Imo. But I also have a channel so it may be biased xD
 
Well my one friend (who is a girl) found out that I have two channels (one for Vlogs and one is my main channel). Surprisingly, she seemed very cool with it. Not shocked, not surprised, just like "oh...he has a vlog channel" XD XD
 
I'd prolly react with "me too! :p"
But it shouldn't matter whether you're a youtuber or not; whether u got lots of subs or no subs. Youtubing is pretty common nowadays anyway.
If you're cool, you're cool :)
