What could ruin a channel's success?

A funny troller called killer karrit just stopped Youtube because he got really bored of it. i cant see why when they have a successful channel that they stop?? and the smaller channels are putting out funny content and aren't getting far. its annoying lol

The Yogscast got pulled not too long ago for a ridiculous reason, but they got it back after a day.
He is also apparently in the military so that doesn't help...

If you're making great content and then suddenly start making awful videos. Or, if you post something that somebody might find offensive, then a bunch of whiners (or just one whiner with several accounts) could flag your videos.

There's this one girl I remember long ago, she was pretty cute, but all I remember is that she made a video about the Metal Gear Solid voice cast all in one room doing a improv rehibilitation set up, with her being the doctor. It was pretty good, had most of the main cast, and it wasn't really funny (in my opinion), but it was enjoyable because the actors were so good in it. She was REALLY popular for it too, and I remember she made interview videos too, but then I remember she was saying that she's quitting YouTube, Facebook, etc. for some reason. I think the video is still up on YouTube, the MGS improv one.
