What could ruin a channel's success?

I'm sure all of 4chan would have exploded in exctasy if Boxxy actually posted nudes. Had no idea she did anything but act like an airhead on youtube. I heard of that other fake gamer girl too.

I guess the only thing to ruin yourself is to get copyright striked or just plain stop. Like if your comp blew up and you couldn't afford a new one for a long long time.

Does Youtube delete dead channels? Like... no channel activity for 5 years or whatever?
