My YouTube channel that I run with another person is doing well for the most part, but I feel after a year and a half we should be getting more views on the channel. We have revamp the channel over time for better quality videos.
I would like to know what someone else thinks, someone who maybe has gone down this same road.

We post on Facebook, and Twitter, then share those links to our personal Facebooks and Twitter accounts. We also post most of them on our website. I also try to share to groups on Facebook if the video fits the group.

If you got good videos (videos people actually want to see) I have these 2 tips for you that have helped me a lot. You can use Tubebuddy to find keywords that are serched enough to make them good but not searched so much that it impossible rank.. I you do a good SEO job you should get more views:)
And forget about Facebook/Twitter (my experience) and promote your videos on REDDIT.. But be ready for s****y comments:) Reddit has given me a lot of views/subs but also s**t comments:poop:

There´s a lot of tips and tricks on how to grow your channel, both in views and subscribers!
You could use Reddit, if you manage to use the right Subreddit. But use reddit as any other forum, earn their trust!

The question is were to promote on Reddit. I have found some that work really well. But a lot of sub Reddit do not like any kind of self promotion.

Hello and welcome to YTtalk. :)

As you can imagine, on a forum about YouTube, this question has been asked and answered hundreds of times already. Since the answers don't really change, these threads get locked. :)

Here are some sections to check out (but there is no need to start a new thread):

http://yttalk.com/forums/strategies-technique-advice.14/
http://yttalk.com/forums/youtube-tips-tutorials-help-guides.91/
http://yttalk.com/forums/youtube-video-marketing-strategy-seo.88/

Also, please use the forum search: http://yttalk.com/search/?type=post

Active members looking for specific advice for their channel based on their existing channel or videos may ask for a review in the review forum. (http://yttalk.com/forums/reviews-channel-feedback.64/ ) The review forum is the only forum where our active members can ask for feedback on their videos and channel (including artwork). We like to keep that sort of thread out of the main forums. :) If the thread complies with the review forum rules (at the top of the review forum), then it will be approved by a member of staff.

Good luck.
