What camera do you use for vlogging?

Hi everyone, sorry I haven't been on here a while. I need some advice, for my main channel videos I use a Canon EOS 550D which is great, but for my vlogging channel I currently use a Toshiba Camileo BW10 camcorder, this is a good little camcorder, and being waterproof I can take it on all sorts of adventures with me, as I did last summer, but something I often find is that while recording in the "vlogging position", there isn't much in the frame. For instance, you'll see my head and shoulders and not an awful lot of background, even when it is fully zoomed out. What cameras do you guys use and could you recommend them? I have been looking at the Canon Powershot A1300, a large compact with a viewfinder, and I like the specifications and other things but does anyone have experience with one?

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks :)
I use a vivitar 1080p camera which is pretty cheap but good :D

My first digital camera was a vivitar that my parents got me for Christmas 2003 when I was nine! I have set up the YouTube capture app on my iPhone so I could certainly use it for short, one-clip vlogs for now. I shot some footage on it last February but couldn't edit it on the computer as I'm a windows user. The man in the apple shop told me about a mobile version of iMovie for the iPhone that you could use to edit it all together on the iPhone. I shall look at that Panasonic

I don't vlog, but if I did I would use my GoPro Hero3.
Comes with a huge range of mounts and cases etc. Its wide angle lens captures a hell of a lot, even in close range and the quality is brilliant.
See my channel for my GoPro review videos ;)

I use a Sony HandyCam HDR-CX130 for vlogging. It has good HD quality as long as I have enough light, and I like the audio quality of the built in mic.

I have also shot HD video from my phone before, and it has decent 1080p HD video quality (it's an HTC MyTouch 4G Slide), but it's audio quality sucks, so I can only use it for video footage I plan to voiceover later.

I use a Canon EOS 60D for vlogging which is great since it has the rotating screen so I can still see myself while I'm in front of the lens. 1080p 30fps.

Can't be practical for moving around, though?

I use all manner of DSLR for my clips, they wouldn't be good for on-the-move vlogging… But if it's just you in front of a stationary camera...

That's true, I normally just have it mounted to a tripod but I've shot some videos while I was walking around.... it's hard to stay in focus though so I should very apature and very high iso with slow shutter speed... (moton blur and grainy but it gets the job done) honestly if I had a camcorder I would just use that

I use a Canon Powershot Elph 300 hs! It's a great, small camera n___n This camera is quite old, but the newer one is the Canon powershot Elph 110 hs!
