What an earth is this???

What i dont really get is how they work with CPM...
I know you get payed per person that plays the game, but i dont really understand how that has anything to do with CPM.

First of all it's RPM, not CPM. It's irritating that people on this forum keep using that term incorrectly. C(ost)PM is what advertisers pay, R(evenue)PM is what YOU get.

Seems like they just did a general conversion PPA to RPM based on the views the video got, so that people could get an idea of how much they could make and how it would compare to a "regular" network's business model.

Exactly right!

Most people know the term CPM, that is why we use it. No matter how hard you try to be technically correct (yes, RPM is technically correct) CPM will always be the more-known term.

So, in terms of cost per thousand views (CPM) you can make $11 CPM. See what videos made some any TV partners over $11 CPM on our website - any.tv - under "Featured Partners". This helps you learn what kind of videos you can make to get better results.

Ultimately what matters is how many new players you get to try the game after watching your videos. That is what game publishers pay you for. But if you do the math, the amount of money you earn divided by the number of views your videos with the "Play Now" link got gives you your CPM.

Hope this helps!

I know this thread is pretty old, but I thought I'd maybe throw some cents out there on the topic. I checked my BentPixels dashboard earlier and saw that apparently BentPixels (Vultra) have partnered with AnyTv, the BP dashboard gives a link to sign up to AnyTv and a link to check out the AnyTv dashboard, so for any people who were thinking it was a scam or something, it seems pretty legit.
Of course I'm sure different networks might have different thoughts on it but I felt BP endorsing it might be something to go off of. I might try it out myself, but I just don't really know if it'd produce any worthwhile bonus to the revenue I'd already be making from the partnership.

I'd suggest that it is definitely worth trying seeing as whatever you make is a bonus, some of them are 1$ for each person that plays on them using your link so that could be a decent bonus to your current revenue especially considering the views you get.

I feel like I'm necro-ing this threada but it's only a month old....

The bit I don't like is that when Any.tv messaged me on YouTube they said "you're selling your fans". As far as I can care, I'm here to entertain my fans (however few I have atm) and they aren't just some resource I can sell for a few quid. Putting more effort into my channel and videos will ultimately be worthwhile to me than making some easy cash from adding a link into my video descriptions.

Nothing in this world is free, it's the way of the world these days: You want something? You gotta pay to get it. So I fail to get my head around the concept that I'll get paid for just giving people a link. And there's the way that Any.tv have also said that you will earn 10% of what people you refer earn. Does this mean it's a pyramid scheme? Because if they earn $20 + $2 for referrals (so they earn $22), will I earn $2.20 (10% of what they earned) or just $2 (what they earned before their referrals are accounted for).

This scheme is too ambiguous and too easy to be true for my liking.
