I've Got It
OK, so one of my videos went from 66 views to 800 views to 1,900 views in 2 days. These can't be actual views, so what is going on? Anyone else experienced this before?

Very unlikely that these are legitimate viewers.
You should check where these views are coming from by going to your Analytics > Playback Loacations > Embedded in external websites and apps and seeing if there are any dodgy sites on there. Someone may have put your video on a site where it gets fake views. If the views still go up, take the video down as your video/channel may get taken down for TOU #4 Violation (botting views, even if you didn't bot them). Scary stuff!

OK, so it's only telling me it was shared to Twitter and had 2 views, which I'm pretty sure I did. Can it be the results are not yet up to date? Maybe it was shared to history students or something, as it was a historical, educational video on Ancient Greece.

I had this happen when my video was put on a cat website. Try googling it, that's how I found where my cat video was posted before the analytics was updated.

Probably embedded somewhere. You'll be able to see where in about a day or two. Here's one of my best, I keep this as a trophy. This quickly moved up to my most viewed dog video within a couple days
