watching your old videos and....

I actually don't feel that way about my first video lol. I actually like it but at the same time i'm just like ooohhh lawd really chris? But I hate my videos some days, laugh like crazy at them others, and then get really inspired the next. It's a cycle for me but i'm not going to stop lol.
 
Yep all the freaking i just want to take down my old videos. But it just shows me how far we have come at making videos. I leave them up so other people can see how we have grown as well
 
My old videos SUCKED! I had the worst mic (AKA the built in mic on my laptop), I used Movie Maker, and my voice had no emotion whatsoever. I leave them up to show my viewers and subscribers how far I have come in the past 2 months because I have made it so far. Now my videos are at least 10X better, and my subscriber number just keeps growing slowly but surely.
 
Yeah those older videos were kinda weird and our acting was awkward and such. Some scenes are kinda face-palmy and what's annoying are sometimes the 'newest vids' still have lame scenes that make face-palm cause I figured I'd be better by now.
 
I've deleted one of my first videos because it was too bad. I used after effects to create an UFO over the skyline of my town but it was so obviously fake that i didn't want it on my channel anymore.
 
I don't delete anything anymore. I just make them unlisted. This way, in case somebody happened to swipe and re-upload the video, I still have my official original upload date for proof.
 
I do not to go all George Lucas on them so I do not remove them,but the first 5 I think, were so awful. The original one, has a type in the background image ever, and you can literally feel the, not anxiety, but that "holy s**t everything is held by spit and bubble gum here" feeling, just oozing out of the video.

Atleast now I got the hang off capturing the instrument and vocals better, so happy with that, but the original ones were recorded so badly.

But you live and learn.
 
I just set my really bad videos to private because if I delete it, my channel views will decrease, it happens before on my old channel. I regret for deleting them :(
 
I have 300+ videos on my channel, and many of them are crap. I don't take them down simply because I want to show the evolution of my channel. I don't think it hurts me in any way. And for those that really want to see more, it's there.
