Vlogging on the go

I've Got It
Okay tomorrow, I am going out with a mate into the city and I am thinking of taking the opportunity to vlog the trip - it won't be boring I promise - have you got any recommendations for this and suggestions as to what I could include? :)

What your up to, where you go, general conversation. Usually the best "day out" style vlogs are compiled with loads of short clips of the day. Don't know if that will help at all but hopefully give you some sort of guidance :)

Thank you, perfect advice, having watched some on the go vlogs I sort of had some ideas as to what sort of content to do but to hear someone else confirm that is what is looked for in this style of vlog.

Certainly will try and incorporate your suggestions :)

My latest video is actually a 'Vlog Style' video as I drive, Recently Drove back to California from the Midwest after the holidays... Usually don't do 'vlog style' videos, but I was just sitting there for hours and thought I should shoot something as I'm really just driving and wasting time...

.... I had more planned but got pulled over by the cops because of "inattentive driving" so the video got cut short, haha.... You can see it all in my latest. BUT I would say, make sure your mobile camera is decent quality... I was worried because usually I shoot with a DSLR, high quality, but I got away with shooting with my phone because I have an iPhone 6s, still pretty good quality.....

Plus, if you're shooting with your phone (or something that looks like a phone) in public, people are going to be less freaked out or uncomfortable because people shoot video with their phones all the time.... it's when you're doing a shoot in public with a tripod and DSLR and bigger equipment when attention really starts to draw and might mess with your shoot, and perhaps, mess with your head, and you wont get the great takes you want from yourself..... Hope that helped!

great advice there thank you - sorry to hear you got pulled over for vlogging whilst driving. As for camera, I have an iPhone 6 Plus that i currently do all of my filming on so hopefully that should not be an issue. The only thing I do worry about is whether the image will be shaky whilst I am out there

right, it sounds dumb perhaps, but selfie sticks are very useful for great angles for vlogging, and to reduce shaky-ness of the camera.... just a thought, bud

So my video finally finished uploading and I think it is pretty good :) if you want to check it out(you don't have to), it's in my signature below :)
