Views Gone Down Recently?

Hello,

Has anyone noticed their views going down recently? I went from 1300 / 48 hours to 250 / 48 hours. Please help me understand why this is happening.

Nothing near that drop for me. What's your traffic source report telling?

Nothing noticeable. It just says i get most of my views from "youtube channels" :S

The graph should show you if especially this view source dropped or if others show a similar pattern.

they've all been doing down steadily since April. The amount % of views I get from from one source to another has remained the same.

Is this effecting the majority of your videos or is the drop mainly on few well performing ones?
I think the next step would be to check your audience retention. Is it generally high?

Its effecting all of the videos. Avg view duration is about 1 minute 10 secs. That has not changed.

And what's the retention rate i.e. the percentage? Did that go down? Maybe you made your newer videos longer but watch time didn't pick up with that.

There is no understanding in YouTube. YouTube's audience are people. People are pretty unpredictable when it comes to watching videos.
Usually this is nothing but just for a small while.
Wait a li'll longer and keep doing your best at your videos. The views will return.
