I don't think one is more important than the other. To be honest, I would rather have more subs than views, because the subs are the people that make you big at the end of the day.

Still, Kootra gets way more views than thatOf course having a huge amount of subs will get you noticed but most of us don't even have over 1000 subscribers and the ones that do don't get that many views. From experience and other people's experience that I have come across its always the same. You gotta work hard for your subscribers to stay on your channel with you because at the end of the day your not going to make a penny without increasing your views. No one's going to sponsor you or partner with you if you don't get a certain amount of average views because they will not want to advertise their products if your not getting enough attention. Channels like Kootra who have nearly a million subscribers and his let's plays only get 7k - 10k views unless he does what people like (unboxings and highlights) then he gets his 35k views.

If your channel has more subs than views something is probably illegitimate about your channelYour channel should always have way more views than subs. It makes your channel look good. I can always spot sub4sub channels...they always have more subs than views.
