Video Editing on a budget, need help...

I got fed up with struggling with kdenlive and handling videos from OBS with multiple audio tracks. Time to look into something new. I will be checking out the free Davinci Resolve this weekend.

I used Pinnacle Studio for a while and it is pretty cheap. You could also get older versions of it which are still great and cost even less, good luck!

...Thought I had Vegas Pro 15 from a Humble Bumble bundle but when I tried redownloading it to my new computer it's like nope the key has already been used and I don't have the computer I originally use dit on anymore :(...

There are folks on Ebay that sell license keys. I see one for Vegas Pro 17 for $4.98. If it works, then you can go back to your familiar environment. If it doesn't work, you can file a claim with Ebay and get your money back.

wow that seems like an amazing deal, Vegas Pro is a one time purchase or license key installment right?
seems like I'm overpaying for Adobe package at $32/month  I do get Photoshop/Lightroom, also Aftereffects which just sits there waiting to be learned :confusedphones:

Yes, Vegas Pro is a one time purchase. I'm not familiar with the product, but a lot of YouTubers endorse it.

Some of the license keys sold on Ebay are acquired through unusual means. For example, unused licenses that are part of an organizational purchase. However, they usually work.

Adobe Aftereffects is a fine product, but as a YouTube hobbyist who produces 4-6 videos a month, I cannot bring myself to pay the monthly fee.

im doing even less /month now, luckily doing videos & thumbnail design for work so all together makes it worth it, adobe package makes sense if you use several of their programs on a constant basis, perfect example if you do video, photography & design work at the same time

I agree.

Adobe Suite would be justifiable for Professionals earning big $ from their work but for the rest of us.. ah, no. no way.

I've developed an aversion to paid programs and use free wherever possible.

I don't know more than the basics fo davinci resolve yet, but it is clearly excellent.

Other programs like Blender (for animation) are also free and an alternative to adobe products.

Want a quality audio editor? Audacity. Also free.

:)
